Service Opportunities
About Share-A-Thon Service
The Bronx Zoomers Group's Share-A-Thon meetings are 45 minutes in length and are led by a Chair with support from a Tech and Monitor.
Speakers will share their personal experience, strength, and hope in recovery from Crystal Meth and/or mind-altering substances for 15 minutes after which participants will have an opportunity to share for 3-4 minutes.
All members of CMA worldwide are encouraged to sign up for service.
Service Requirements
The Share-A-Thon Needs to fill 36 Commitments.*
Meeting Chairs
Experience with Chairing 12-Step Zoom Meetings
A member of Crystal Meth Anonymous.
Meeting Techs
Experience with using Zoom Host & Co-Host Features in 12-Step Meetings
A member of Crystal Meth Anonymous
Meeting Standby (backup for both Chair and Tech)
Experience with Chairing 12-Step Zoom Meetings
Experience with using Zoom Host & Co-Host Features in 12-Step Meetings
A member of Crystal Meth Anonymous
Monitors
Selected by the Steering Committee to support the Meeting's Trusted Servants during their shifts.
Training will be provided for everyone doing service.
*12 Shifts Available for each Commitment (36 Commitments in total).
There is no minimum sobriety requirement to do meeting-level service at the Bronx Zoomers Group.
Speaker Requirements
The Share-A-Thon Steering Committee requests speakers:
A member of Crystal Meth Anonymous as defined by the Third Tradition;
Have one year of continuous sobriety;
Share their experience, strength, and hope for 15 minutes;
Share their working knowledge of the Twelve Steps of Crystal Meth Anonymous;
